UGLY??? Not at all! I think they’re absolutely adorable, and I hope you feel the same way!
These ornaments are handmade with great care and lots of LOVE! Here’s how it’s done:
First, I hand-cut the body shape of the sweater from various colors of opaque glass. Then, I cut and add the adornments to each piece, which is fired in my home studio kiln to fuse all the elements together. I sometimes add additional details using enamel paints, and the sweater is fired once more to ensure the paint is permanent. Finally, each ornament is completed with a colorful ribbon hanger, ready to hang on the tree in its new home!
Every ornament is a one-of-a-kind piece with slight variations in size, generally measuring around 3.5" tall x 3" wide."
